Ice Breakers Add Experience With Stuart-Dant

Mentor, OH - The Ice Breakers have signed Canadian forward Thomas Stuart-Dant for the 2019-20 season, bringing a veteran presence to the team.  Most recently Thomas played for the Akureyri Vikings in the Iceland Hockey League, winning both the President's Cup and League Championship.  The Vikings also represented Iceland in the 2019 IIHF Continental Cup and achieved an impressive 4-2 record through two pools.  After  spending the past 6 seasons in Europe including seasons in Germany, Holland and the UK, Stuart-Dant recorded 193 points, (102 goals and 91 assists), in 163 games.

When asked about the Ice Breakers and the move to Mentor, OH, Thomas had this to say, "I'm very excited to sign with Mentor - I had some great conversations with Coach Duncan and this is an excellent opportunity for me to come on board as a veteran leader and help take the team to the next level.
